Ahh...Dunedin! So much like Scotland.....and as if to prove the point it didn't stop pissing with rain for three days! Not much fun when you're exposed to the elements. I really wanted to go along the coast road to Invercargill to see the bird colonies etc, but there was a force 8 gale blowing and I couldn't stay upright on the bike and had to turn back. Gutted, but as you say I should go back for another holiday so I guess that's my justification!
Anyway you've captured this scene beautifully, Roland, nice composition. If you can be bothered and have time, try reducing the brightness a little and bumping up the contrast, it'll take the glare from the sky and bring the colours out a bit more too. :-)
Really enjoying the NZ series, mate. More to come?

@Stu: Haha..you are right about the weather! This was actually one of the few places where the weather was mediocre to say the least! And very close to where I took this photo there was a huge Albatross colony and also one with the very rare yellow eyed penguins! Just a tip for next time ;)
Unfortunately not that many more to come which are "pretty" enough for this site...
As to enhancing it i found it very hard to get anything out of this one as i agree it could be a bit more dramatic, but then again i am just a starting amateur! I'll try your tips Stu..thanks!
Us Kiwi's are getting used to getting ragged about our weather recently, starting to grow webbed feet. It does seem to rain a lot in Dunedin, but unlike Stu I made it to see the bird colonies and have pix to prove it! This captures the atmosphere really well, but I agree that fiddling with contrast and brightness to bring out the sky might make it more dramatic.
